Did you forget to enter the rollback to the older driver setting in Devices Manager? It seems Windows might be selecting incorrect drivers automatically.

This indicates Windows hasn<|pad|> have not received updates. Are you certain you installed the correct driver? Is your BIOS current?

I confirmed the correct drivers. I used both the OEM ones and a different chipset driver from another site. Both functioned briefly before failing again. No BIOS update is available.

Do you have any remaining warranty coverage? You might consider purchasing the Intel Wireless-AC 9260 from AliExpress for around $15 to $20. If not, would you like assistance with installing the drivers through SDIO?

It seems you're dealing with a driver problem. Refer to the link provided and use the Snappy Driver Installer tool for reliable updates. Windows often misses driver patches, so after installing and agreeing to the license, you can download only the necessary driver packs. Enable expert mode for more control. Once you start downloading, a progress bar will appear and updates will begin. You can review available driver updates and decide whether to apply all or just the ones you need. Good luck, and let me know if you face any issues.

You don’t have to set up SDIO, even though MajorGeeks is a trusted site. Interestingly, on some recent Windows 10 PCs, Windows Update can locate all the drivers—though they’ll remain a bit old, as they’re intended for professional environments.
