Ubiquiti Nanobeams work well for this setup. They cover more than 500 meters with solid speed. Setup is straightforward and usually requires little upkeep once installed. I deploy them in several outbuildings linked to a bigger sector antenna—no problems there. If the range drops below about 100 meters, mounting an outdoor-grade AP on your house exterior could simplify things and likely reach your garage easily. My wireless AP reaches my garage without trouble, and I also have one in my basement, which isn’t perfect but still delivers strong coverage. I use the Ubiquiti UAP-AC-LR AP. The main drawback is needing controller software for configuration and security. It’s running smoothly on my home server and my personal desktop too. There are other APs available, so compare options. I prefer Ubiquiti gear and it has performed well so far.

I also use a UAP-AC-LR which provides strong Wi-Fi coverage across the neighborhood and a couple of houses away. Some of Ubiquiti’s beam-based solutions are ideal for your setup and perform better than typical access points.
