Hi there, I recently purchased several NVME SSDs of the same capacity and speed. I set up a RAID 0 array and installed a fresh Windows 11 system. During initial setup, only Bluetooth functioned during the first boot. After updating all my drivers—official ones, Asus Z270E Gaming Strix from the official site—I confirmed everything was working fine. However, once Wi-Fi activated, the PC froze. I reinstalled drivers and it worked again, but after rebooting, both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disappeared. I've tried every possible solution: updating drivers, reinstalling, cleaning up, using alternative drivers, disabling devices in BIOS. The issue seems linked to driver problems rather than hardware faults. Also, on Device Manager, the Wi-Fi adapter appears with an error stating "Device couldn't start," and a USB device shows an error code 43 (USB Descriptor error). Disabling the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controllers in the BIOS removed those devices, confirming the problem lies with the adapters themselves. They appear to be PCI-E devices integrated into the motherboard. I'm experiencing bandwidth limitations as well. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed a potential bandwidth constraint. Which processor are you running?

Odd, really. To confirm it's a Raid problem, delete the array and set up Windows on one drive. If it functions properly, that explains why a Raid setup could be the cause. At least your backup is safe. C

This situation might also be described as “WiFi and Bluetooth disabled after the driver update.” On Windows, reverting drivers should likely resolve the issue. Regarding the suggestion, it’s worth noting that trying unconventional methods like holding a fish over your head and dancing isn’t practical. If you have video evidence, sharing it could help.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functioned together with Windows installed on one drive, confirming the test result. BT and Wi-Fi aren't crucial to me, yet I needed to understand the reason behind it.

Rolling back didn't help; nothing functioned properly. I believe the standard driver included with the ISO was the solution. After that, when attempting to install genuine drivers, bandwidth restrictions caused the installation to fail and the PC to freeze. This occurred at least three or four times during driver trials, and again now the device isn't working because of the same limitation.

The main idea behind the fish discussion was that it can’t cover everything. Without a list, we’re left to make our own assumptions about what was included and what wasn’t.

I've talked about what happened, but I can't create a list. I'm struggling with this problem for about ten days now. I work 10 hours each day, use the PC, but it's tough to recall everything. I'm balancing work, sleep, and tasks, which makes it even harder.

It sounds like you're describing someone who approaches every problem with a wide range of ideas, much like typical troubleshooting users.
