Many have likely heard about Steam offering refunds. But I face a challenge—I need a refund for the Bioshock Triple Pack I purchased at a much higher price than its current cost. I wanted it back, but I spent nearly 7 hours trying to locate it because I left it open and forgot. Since I bought it just three days ago, I didn’t play any of the other games. Instead of asking for a refund, I requested a return of the difference between the two bundles, hoping I wouldn’t buy another game with that money. Unfortunately, I was denied. Anyone have ideas on what to do next?

Request a refund. If denied once more, Bioshock remains an excellent series, worth your money.

I purchased it for 21.60 CAD, which is approximately $9 at the moment. It would be nice to buy another game with the remaining funds. I've already reached out twice.

Refunds are available only when you've played fewer than two hours and the purchase was made within fourteen days.

It’s not possible to confirm the game was played by accident. They seem indifferent about it.

I just purchased it for three days, but the policy states they rarely refund broken games. My friend bought Bioshock in March with no hours played and still received a refund.

You mentioned you played it for 7 hours and 2 hours is the limit for a refund—it doesn’t matter whether you left it on or not; as long as it’s over 2 hours, it counts.

You receive a refund for purchases made before a certain date. Both H1Z1 and Cities Skylines were bought in March, so you qualify for the refund.
