Why won't my laptop pick up a Bluetooth speaker or headset?
Why won't my laptop pick up a Bluetooth speaker or headset?
Hey, first let me explain what I'm trying to do... I own an audio mixer and I need its output to go into my computer wirelessly instead of with a cable. Bluetooth seems the easiest way to do that because both my two Dell laptops (both running Windows 10) can use it. I have two separate stand-alone bluetooth transmitters, one works at 4.1 GHz and the other at 5.0 GHz. I plug these devices into power using USB cables, they also have an audio input jack, so when I press the pairing button on both of them... neither computer sees either device! So if I have two different computers and two different transmitters but I can't see either one then that means something is wrong. By the way... one of those transmitters has a switch labeled RX / TX. When I plug it into my laptop, it shows up as a receiver but not as a transmitter. Any tips? Thanks Mike
I got a transmitter... why does my computer not work as a receiver? Do I have to do anything special when putting them together? Thanks.
I thought you wanted to use two transmitters to talk to one another, but you actually wanted to use Bluetooth built into laptops. This usually won't work well because the transmitters look for matching devices, just like Bluetooth speakers.
