The original Matrix game (Enter the Matrix?) had decent graphics but its visuals and design felt outdated. A fresh take on this series with a contemporary engine would be great.

Truly, despite the franchise's popularity, we're past due for a genuine Matrix title that incorporates modern technology. I believe Teyon could be a fitting choice to handle this project. They performed well with Terminator Resistance (including its DLC mission) and Robocop Rogue City was also solid.

An interesting aspect of the Enter The Matrix game is that it offered background information about Ghost and Niobe (first introduced in Matrix Revolutions). It details their missions that culminate in rescuing Morpheus. The game also features high-quality cutscenes using FMV—actors from the movie playing their roles specifically for this video game. There might even be a brief appearance by Trinity. It seems these FMV scenes were filmed during or after the production of Matrix Revolutions.
