Why the GPU HD 5750 automatically overclocks???
Hi guys.
GPU Radeon HD 5750.
stock core clock is 700 and memory clock is 1000, but my GPU runs at gaming core clock up to 2000 MHz. Why? Not changing settings. How can I fix this?
Operating system: Win 10 x64.
Motherboard: Asrock P67 Performance fatality Gaming Gear
Various locations display it as double due to ddr being double data rate, even though gddr5 operates at quad rates. No GPU on the planet can double its speed. The stock clock for a 5750 is 1150mhz. Verify with gpuz. Bios cannot control GPU oc.

Check with gpuz. Bios doesn't control GPU oc. In the catalyst control center, all settings use default values. Overclocking varies by game from 1400 mhz to 2000 mhz, though 2000 mhz is more common. Perhaps the issue lies with the same GPU?
enter bios during startup and reset the system to its default settings, but then on the next boot you’ll need to change your hard drive as the default boot, which should resolve the issue.
all defaults are set. my hard disk is an SSD with 128 GB for Windows and a 1 TB WD black drive from Information.

Game over?
Not. My graphics card just gets overclocked in the game automatically. Normally there is no problem
