Many gamers in League of Legends are quitting their squads. Some earn 2 to 3 times the usual income while enjoying themselves, which feels much more rewarding than the pressure of daily 12-hour practices in tense teams.

Absolutely, sponsors usually provide more funding than what teams earn from winning tournaments. Placing ads on Twitch streams that attract thousands of viewers can also generate significant revenue for companies.

Everyone continues to play Dota 2, but the team compositions have shifted. Na'Vi wouldn’t last much longer, just like the Alliance did.

I never claimed they gave up the competitive world. I stated they moved away from teams and created new ones.

Maybe they became bored or had other commitments taking up their time. I recall someone leaving their current team because of an RSI on their wrists—indicating a risk of losing hand function if they don’t stop. That seems like a solid excuse.

There are several factors: finances (another team might offer better pay), communication (this happens often), motivation (they might think they can progress elsewhere), and career goals (fame or fame through a more well-known team). Education completion is another reason, similar to how football clubs regularly sign new players. You know the rest of us might not understand it all.

It's often mentioned that each year only one aspect counts, "The International," while other events serve as preparation for top teams. Following every International usually leads to significant departures and team dissolutions, particularly in China. Elite players may retire, leave their clubs, or wait to see how the situation develops before joining a new group to get ready for the next competition. This pattern seems to be consistent.

Typically, team management keeps a portion of the prize money earnings, generally around 20-30%. When you include expenses like lodging, travel, daily needs such as meals and rent, plus equipment costs, that portion seems reasonable given the overall running expenses.

I aim for e-sports growth across Southeast Asian nations such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. In Malaysia specifically, I see e-sports still lagging behind countries like Indonesia and Thailand. I hope to see progress similar to top players like Dendi, MuShi, and KuroKy competing more intensely.
