PC games often have more bugs because they run on powerful hardware and complex software, which can lead to instability. Console games, being designed for specific hardware, tend to be more polished and less prone to issues.

It seems like you're thinking about the challenges of developing games for limited platforms while needing to work with diverse hardware. The main issue is balancing performance and compatibility across different systems.

On consoles they develop for a specific type of hardware, whereas PCs use multiple configurations.

Since there are numerous PC setups, the same applies to OSX and Windows. Creating software for a few devices is significantly simpler.

since console games are limited to just two main platforms—xbox or ps4—they can only ever exist in those two versions. pc systems, on the other hand, offer a wide range of gpus, cpus, and hardware configurations, making it possible to test and develop for multiple setups.

There are just a couple of solutions available, even though there are many options. Various computer setups exist on PCs!

This mainly impacts optimization and performance across the vast array of possible PC configurations. However, numerous issues and malfunctions stem from careless developers or publishers who lack sufficient time and resources to fully adapt games for PC (especially if originally made for consoles). They might use a thumbstick instead of proper mouse handling, cap frame rates arbitrarily due to physics constraints, or freeze the game at 30fps because speed is tied to other elements. Upgrading to better textures and effects is often neglected. Glitches frequently arise during the porting process itself, and developers rarely prioritize fixing them. While hardware diversity complicates optimization, many problems are not hardware-related but rather due to poor development practices.

Let me know your preferences for either PC or PS4. Which one are you leaning toward? Just for online play, not with friends from your country.

Decide your budget freely. PCs are pricier but offer more games; consoles are cheaper yet cost more for titles; online play requires payment. Unless you own a Nintendo Wii U.
