Why my pc underperforms a lot?????
I've been playing CSGO and Valorant often. My average FPS was about 80fps on low settings, and the same applies to Valorant. I assumed my PC was struggling. I watched a video testing my CPU and GPU (AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega). It showed that CSGO and Valorant averaged over 150 FPS at high resolution and mid settings. I checked for issues but didn’t find anything obvious.
Current specifications indicate sufficient RAM capacity, typically 16GB or more, and the latest motherboard BIOS along with compatible chipset drivers are recommended for optimal performance.
Tell me about your memory configuration—do you use two modules and are they set up for dual-channel operation?
Peak memory bandwidth appears at 23GB/s, which likely means a single channel. I believe the OP requires another dimming unit.
Save CPUZ, navigate to the "memory" section. Capture the screen. Share it. https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
It looks like you're working with limited RAM. Using two sticks provides double the bandwidth thanks to dual-channel. You might consider upgrading to another 16GB stick or swapping your current RAM for something with twice the capacity. Memory bandwidth is crucial for graphics performance, and since your CPU relies on DDR4 memory, you'll want the optimal DDR4 configuration available. Increasing the clock speed from 2933 to 3200MHz would help slightly, but switching to dual-channel would make a more significant difference.
From the images shared, it's clear the RAM is operating at its specified rate, indicating this isn't the problem.
