I use the Redmi Note 8 Pro as a modem for my computer, and when it functions well, it performs quickly with normal latency. However, it frequently loses connection—my Wi-Fi shows "NO INTERNET CONNECTION" even when connected via cable. On my phone, the issue disappears completely. This is frustrating because it interrupts games unexpectedly. Do you think this is due to network instability or another problem?

The system requires a phone to establish a connection, preventing direct Wi-Fi access without it.

Yes, I don’t have WiFi at home. Since I’m living alone, I can’t afford it. What channel should we use?

Setting is consistently disabled, approximately three-fifths of the time.

It doesn't really solve the issue; the signal isn't the main problem since it still drops unexpectedly. This has been mentioned in the original post. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is around 2 years old.

You connected using a cable as well, but the issue persists. With only cell data available, options are limited. Check redflagdeals for affordable internet plans. Occasionally you find good offers there.

Yes, and no i don't have any limitations on my data plan and nor did i turn on the metered connection feature, so idk what's going on. Everything checks out well...that's why i am so confused.
