We plan to host another local area network in April. I’m searching for a fresh online game and unexpectedly discovered the option to lease a server. I'd likely utilize this for a short-term LAN event, though I’m unfamiliar with this process. What are the benefits of renting server space?

If we host another gaming event at my home and play The Forest again, and then we organize a subsequent event this month using a rented server for the same game, will I perceive a noticeable distinction? Furthermore, does it appear that some technical expertise is required from my side to set this up? Is the process particularly complex?
