Why is Windows 10 so slow?

Hey everyone, I noticed your mom's laptop used Windows 8.1 with an Intel Atom and just 2GB RAM, but after switching to Windows 10 it feels sluggish and slow. It takes a whole minute to open folders from the desktop now. Do you think there might be something specific about this machine that’s causing the issue? It seems like other users are having much better performance with Windows 10.

I considered it too, but the memory consumption looks fine. The main concern is the CPU usage—it’s around 64% after just navigating through the task manager.
