I'm curious about why Windows 10 keeps causing issues and feels so complicated. I really dislike this interface and would prefer sticking with Windows 7, which has a much simpler and more user-friendly design. I like using the control panel for everything instead of relying on a settings app, and I find the Start Menu in Windows 7 much more intuitive than the current version of Windows 10. Additionally, I don't see any real gains in gaming performance with Windows 10, so I'd rather go with an older OS.

Windows 10 can be tough to use and the settings tool feels clunky. I favor the control panel and the Windows 10 start menu, which are much better than Windows 8.1. Auto-updates also work poorly on Windows 7, but I can disable them completely on Windows 10. Edited February 5, 2018 by Ryan_Vickers

I’m not someone who grew up using Windows, but I find it frustrating because it was imposed on others and often breaks things. The menu feels more suited for tablets, which is disappointing. I also dislike the settings app since it’s difficult to navigate.

I don't really enjoy Linux since it doesn't support gaming well—it only offers a limited selection of games that can run on it.

Windows 10 is incredibly user-friendly. Versions before 95 are still quite challenging.

I already understand why Luke dislikes Windows 10—it has the worst interface ever and I pray they create another OS similar to Windows 7. I wish they’d make a better alternative instead of a clunky settings app that pushes us to use it. Worse still, my college just switched to Windows 10 in the lab, which really frustrates me. I’m so relieved I’m using my laptop with Windows 8.1 Pro instead.

it’s simple to use despite the many bothersome automatic updates i dislike. The telemetry information they collect is even more intrusive than with older systems, and the control panel layout is far less intuitive. I find it difficult to disable all data gathering and keep privacy settings active, and I can’t turn off Windows Defender even when other antivirus programs are installed. This makes Windows Defender frustrating to use.

It wouldn't be the worst interface ever, but it's likely to get better over time. They're shifting toward a more modern UWP style, which means the old control panel will probably disappear completely.

I really dislike those apps that don’t work well. I hope they keep doing what they did with XP support for Windows 7 for another decade, since there are still about half the computers running that OS.
