Hey everyone, I am here because I am very stressed and my PC/CSGO is causing me to go crazy. I can't figure out what's wrong since trying many things without success. I have a strong computer but the game used to run perfectly until now. Around six weeks ago, it started acting weirdly. Sometimes, when I use a fast gun like an MP9, every third bullet doesn't fire and the whole game freezes up because my PC can't handle all that speed at once. It feels like running in heavy glue or thick syrup while playing. Nothing is smooth anymore; everything feels stuck and unplayable even though there is no lag or stuttering.

At first, I went back to an older Windows update that fixed it. But a short time later, the problem started again and now I can't roll back to that version. Since then, nothing has changed much and it's really annoying. I'm not sure if this is my PC, my monitor, or Steam/CSGO causing it. My monitor acts strangely too; sometimes it starts in 144Hz even though it says 280Hz, and then when the game launches, it runs at a lower speed than expected and never stays consistent.

I tried many things to fix this: I updated my drivers, followed all Steam and YouTube tips, fixed connection issues by resetting windows, re-downloaded everything again, increased my GPU fans for two days, had someone clean my CPU and GPU including replacing thermal paste (they said it might be heat-related), moved the PC to a cooler spot, adjusted my NVIDIA settings based on advice, and checked my specs. My computer is an Intel i9 11900KF with an Nvidia RTX 3080, lots of RAM, fast storage, good cooling, a powerful power supply, and an ASUS monitor running at 280Hz.

I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks so much in advance!

Whoops, did I order that wrong? It's not really about how many watts you buy, what matters more than the type of fan. What are we talking about with liquid cooling anyway? I'm guessing you mean a big AIO cooler, right? Which one would you pick up there? Also, what kind of motherboard is this?

Thanks for coming back to me. Liquid Airflow is a built-in system I think in this case. It looks like the motherboard is a Z490-A PRO, but I'm not sure about the PSU. I tried looking at the link on Amazon, but it's hidden inside the casing there. That PC is from that product link.

Cyberpower has a reputation for cheap power supply parts. You wouldn't be shocked if this is the problem. The new RTX 30 cards need a good power source because of the big voltage jumps they make. Cheap units struggle with those spikes.
