Hey! It seems like you're experiencing stuttering in BF3, but it's not related to your GPU performance. The issue might be with the game itself or your system settings. Try checking for updates, adjusting graphics settings, or restarting your PC to see if that helps.

You haven't used VSync yet... Have you ever played on a premium graphics card? A locked FPS game will always run better than an unlocked one.

If your frame rate exceeds what your monitor supports, you won’t gain any visual advantage. Sync your games for better satisfaction. The sole exception would be on an extremely slow screen.

I also don’t use VSync and haven’t faced any problems.

I've never used vSync in a game before and it hasn't been as smooth. I'd need around 200fps to even approach the same fluidity as 60fps at full speed.

I don’t like the delay Vsync introduces. It looks like the GPU usage changes in Crysis 2. The issue arises when intense sections cause the GPU to be at 60-70% capacity, dropping to 50-40 FPS—which is frustrating. I’m unsure if it’s a driver problem or if I need to return the card. In my experience, I usually get around 99% of GPU load consistently.

It also occurs when I cap the frame rate at 60-64 FPS in RTSS, which bothers me a lot.

Attempt a fresh installation, reposition the card, or try additional adjustments.

It seems you're questioning whether your system's performance might be limited by an older processor.
