ThermalTake 750W Bronze PSU might not provide sufficient power output. After a recent crash, I restored the system and adjusted the XTU default gHz to 3.6GHz for safety. Current idle temperatures are around 40-50°C.

new configuration, fans moving outward from the back of the case. 1000w evga supernova swapped in and new RAM installed, will check performance once I receive the z390 asus rog strix

New motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E. I attempted to overclock the CPU via BIOS, but it appears grayed out. I'm trying to manually adjust the core ratio, but it's not working. Can you help me understand this? Also, if it's not a major issue, could you clarify the difference between overclocking in BIOS and using the Asus IXTU program? They seem to handle settings differently, making it hard to know how to effectively boost performance.

I thought it might seem like your mobile's CPU wasn't getting enough power, which could be why it failed when under stress. I believe the issue lies with the Z370 broads not being suitable for running an i9, making it a likely cause of your problems.
