I tried turning on "Wake on LAN" on my computer using an MSI motherboard, but I found this setting in the BIOS. When I turned it on and let my PC go to sleep, it woke up immediately without me doing anything at all. Every time I try to sleep, the PC wakes up super fast. This is happening when I use Windows 10 with an MSI board. But if I turn off Wake on LAN, everything works fine again. I don't know what to do next. Is there anyone here who can help? Imagine if you're sharing a printer or a folder with someone else at home and they turn on their machine; that other PC should wake up right away so you can find the file. I noticed our office workstation also wakes whenever someone connects to the network drive or opens another app. To stop those annoying waiting times, especially when someone is trying to do work but sees an error saying it's offline because it was off for a while, I just left that machine plugged in 24/7. The only thing I turned off are the screens so they don't flicker or show up blank while you're working.
