My Dell laptop shows an old date from yesterday. I looked around the settings and found that all options are turned on properly, yet the computer is still showing yesterday's time. What could be wrong?

try syncing the clock again. go into "change date and time" settings, then turn off "set time automatically". after that, turn it back on. this will fix your time (make sure your location and time zone are correct before turning it back on). read: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...th-a-time/
