I'm facing unexpected drops in my 3060, leading to stuttering or pauses during gameplay (temporary drop to 0 FPS followed by resumption). I suspect the graphics card isn't the main issue, but I need guidance on troubleshooting this problem. Please share any further details or screenshots if you'd like.

It likely varies based on the game you're using. It might be a bottleneck or something else. The titles you play are named.

Observed mainly in Escape of Tarkov and now PoE 2. Acknowledged, these aren't the most refined titles globally...

Usually I’d mention your CPU/RAM setup is too slow, but your hardware looks decent. Your C Drive’s usage seems inconsistent, which is uncommon since most assets should already fit into RAM by the mid-game. You might have background processes consuming resources, though I’m unfamiliar with those games and just making an assumption.

To check on the previous advice from @RTX 2080:
Open Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free).
Use each tool individually but only one at a time.
Wait until the system is stable after starting, before launching a game.
Observe the tool window during startup to see any changes.
Focus on activity drops to understand which resource is consuming the most.
The goal is to identify how much each resource is using and how it affects performance.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s-explorer
It may require some time and careful attention to interpret the results.

I thought the C drive activity was unusual too, because all my games are on the D drive. My C just contains the OS and some random applications.

The operating system manages the application.
How much space is used by the C?
