Why is Google Chrome acting crazy?
Hi everyone, when I opened just one tab and started a single instance on Chrome's homepage, Windows shows up as 20 or more separate processes in the task manager instead of one. I thought it was malware, but reinstalling didn't fix it either. Thanks for any tips! Tom

here is an update: when I look at my browser's built-in tool to see what apps are running, there are a bunch of weird little boxes showing up on the screen. it looks like about 20 of them, and some names pop out, like smartadserver or pubmatic, which makes me nervous.
