I need to reinstall it because of the thread link you shared. Why is it taking so much space—5.6GB for something so simple?

It's surprising how compact they all are. Witcher 3 took around 30GB, Skyrim nearly 12GB, and GTA V was over 50GB. Five or six gigabytes isn't that much. All those details, settings, anti-cheat features—all packed into one file.

It's actually quite manageable. I'm not sure what you're worried about. The size will keep increasing when you download demos or use community maps.

Audio effects, surfaces and shapes can only be reduced so far before they appear or sound bad like feces. 5.6 GB is within an acceptable range.

It's been a while since 5.6gb became standard. It used to be considered small back then.
