1,2,3 Jup, Windows is quite simple to obtain 5 Jup. Someone using a Mac because "it can't be hacked and has no viruses" faces much greater risk than someone on Windows who stays mindful of browsing habits. 4 holds special importance for me. If you stick with Windows, you’ll likely end up redirected to the .exe install page by major sites. But visiting GOG, Minecraft, Steam, Chrome downloads on a Linux machine will quickly get you your .deb or .jar files.

I completely share that view. The way Ubuntu connects with the Android look is really appealing. For the upcoming generation moving from phones to computers, Ubuntu will seem more natural compared to Windows, thanks to features like the "Store" section and smooth updates.

Additionally, handling server tasks usually works better on Linux. I acknowledge using Unraid and Docker for most of it.

Microsoft aims to manage everything through a single store, but I believe they'll face more pushback than Linux will. The issue is that distributing Windows apps is already straightforward—just put them in an installer and offer an EXE on the download page. Developers might not feel the need to go through the extra process of adding them to the Windows Store, and what they get could resemble either the Apple App Store or Google Play. On Linux, users expect a straightforward app store for exploring packages. Historically, packaging has been challenging, but unified solutions like AppImages, Snaps, or Flatpaks are welcome once they become more established.

i dont think you understand what linux is https://www.linuxfoundation.org/ linux isnt a company like apple. Think of it more as a public hobby that some kid started and because anybody could join in they did. They do have a good crosscompiler, we know this because linux is on every type of architecture more so than any other OS. That is why it is on almost every super computer, modem, router, multimedia tv box, cell phone, tablet. here is the biggest app store you may not have heard of it https://play.google.com/store Its also got steam on the desktop which should not be news. Iv used it for games and work for almost a decade and and having steam available without Wine is awesome. there was at least one hot chick on youtube doing it, i think thats a start. heres an old one of BSD vs Linux. Linux booth is on the right they are all over the place. any time you see the windows logo. there is prob one on your computer keyboard right now. You will find the windows logo in ads but you didnt think about it until now that i point it out to you
