For desktop or laptop users, this level of fragmentation makes it challenging for someone unfamiliar with a new operating system or interface to adapt quickly.

It's present all the time, yet you rarely notice it. For consumer desktop OSes, it often suffers from limited development and support, and many prefer more intuitive experiences. It seems strong in just a few areas, but weak across the board.

There is a taskbar with an app center similar to Google Play or AppStore for Ubuntu. You don’t need to install anything through Terminal. Ubuntu is becoming more user-friendly, and it’s free compared to Windows.

It appears to be a statement with some inconsistencies. The sentence seems to say it exists everywhere except on a desktop.

Refers to the consumer market where I needed to rely on the terminal for almost every program I set up.

You cannot simply visit any site and install software instantly. Also, Windows offers several legitimate options.

Linux should build a top-notch cross compiler like Apple did, and share it at no cost. Adding support for executables would be helpful, though that’s clearly not the main point. These kinds of suggestions keep coming up over and over again.

Have you ever attempted to list items on the Ubuntu Software Center? I did in 2014, and I ranked 10th in sales with a small game named Linux Tycoon. I achieved 27 transactions. - Linux Sucks, 2017 Edition
