The sale offers a 10 € discount for each game priced above 14.99 €. This deal, however, raises the question: why are they implementing this strategy?

CDProject Red adjusted their pricing reportedly. This change seems logical since Epic provided a coupon for users. The shift in price might reflect those incentives.

The pricing decisions come from CDPR. It’s also available on Steam for an additional 1 cent here: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/124923/. There was a recent news article about them intentionally reducing prices to avoid counting sales.

Someone imagines a real-life twist on the corrupt-a-wish concept, like if Epic offered discounts for games priced around 15 dollars. Another person jokes that Witcher 3 would be even cheaper at 14.98.

CDPR controls GOG, and they're vying against Epic. Pushing Epic's customers is profitable for us.
