I purchased a Windows 7 product key from G2Play and downloaded an ISO file. When it was time to insert the key, it refused to accept it. I only need a genuine copy of Windows 10 for my new desktop, so I’m trying to figure out what might be going wrong with the installation process. Any advice would be really helpful!

Avoid purchasing from illegal platforms—it's likely to be a loss. (Based on what I've seen)

Should've bought one off G2A.com, at least you can add an option (costs a tiny bit more) that acts as a shield, if the key doesn't work, you get all your money back. At most, it sounds like you got a fake key.

The G2A Shield option is completely misleading. I've had an open service request with them for nearly two weeks about a revoked game key, but they're refusing to respond. I've only used G2A three times so far and have experienced one issue, so it seems like a limited sample. I'm deciding not to continue doing business with them anymore.

G2A is at best a grey market and often a black market for Windows keys. Just a note. A few might function properly, while others lose validity after six months or never work at all. Even the G2A SHIELD feature carries risk, since they frequently deny support.
