Why does some games suck at launch.

while this is true... for the most part... there are also a lot of boneheaded decisions from developers themselves though, especially "indies" come to mind and also companies where the devs are basically the publishers, EA, lots of Japanese game makers like Capcom, Square, etc come to mind... And then you have the whole relatively recent issue of everyone and their grandma using "unreal" which is a huge mess traditionally, hardly optimized and looks like garbo unless huge efforts are made to make it look less garbo - i don't even know if puplishers are to blame here or devs actually are thinking "this is good enough" ... *sigh*
I was just trying to comment on CP77 since my setup worked fine. The whole talk about consoles was about older systems, which I think they should never have released. I even thought it would turn into a big mess. I hope developers focus more on PC, because they’re starting to realize it makes more sense. Management seems to be handling development poorly, and if they want multi-platform support, they should prioritize PC first before trying to port it down. It’s not working as intended. Bad management, unskilled developers, and poor coding. It needs to stop.
I understand, I meant to be more general with "older ones." That was a mistake. I'm likely correct about CP now.
