I have a system with two 2x16 DDR5 6000 modules. The setup covered the full 32GB. After some time, half of them started appearing later. I removed the RAM and tested each stick in the main slot—it worked properly. Both sticks came back online afterward. I thought it was just a reseat issue.

Over a few weeks, in SignalRGB one stick changed color compared to the others, and only one was recognized again. I tried swapping slots one by one, and everything functioned correctly. Reseating seems successful now, though I’m still concerned.

Both sticks passed memtest tests. All drivers—BIOS, Windows, chipset—are up to date.

Occasionally the PC freezes during boot on the DRAM light. I assumed it was DDR5 training, but after waiting 30 minutes it stopped progressing. A reset fixed it. Generally, the system runs well except for that rare hiccup every couple of weeks with the RAM.

What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
32GB DDR5 6000 — consider sharing a link to the RAM kit you're using. Are the RAM slots A2 and B2 being filled?
Edit: system specs include 9800X3D, 3080, 32GB DDR5 6000, Gigabyte X870 Eagle Wifi7.
When sharing troubleshooting threads, it's standard to provide complete system details. List your specifications clearly as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Add the age of the PSU along with its make and model. BIOS version for your board at this time.

If this has occurred before, it seems to be a RAM incompatibility problem similar to what I've experienced with Corsair. It works fine with ASRock and Asus but can cause issues with Gigabyte and MSI. I suggest using Klevv RAM for Gigabyte. Consider lowering the RAM speed to 5200.

Interesting. It's on the QvL though. Although, I think it's the simplest thing to try.
They suggested it might be the CPU because of another issue I'm facing, and after checking RAM with memtest, I ruled that out. I didn't really think it was the problem, but I admit I don't fully grasp how a CPU interacts with RAM.

The specifications for the 9800X3D state a clock speed of 5600MT/s. If performance exceeds this, adjustments to the automatic XMP settings may be necessary.
https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Zen/AMD-Ryzen 7 9800X3D.html
Memory controller details include two channels and support for DDR5-5600 memory. ECC is also available.

Consider cleaning the RAM slot pins. If that fails, turn off overclocking features like XMP or ReadyBoost, and test if it works consistently. Also, try moving slots 2-4 and 1-3 around. Adjust timings as needed.

Thanks for the updates. It's been several months, but I'm still experiencing some problems. I've tried a few solutions but issues persist.
I turned off XMP and ran the RAM at its standard speed for a 9800X3D.
16 of my 32GB are still disappearing, though less frequently now.
I still face freezing during boot when the RAM light appears, but it's happening less often.
I inspected the CPU for any damage and found none.
The RAM sticks look clean, with no signs of burning or corrosion.
msconfig shows no RAM limit and auto-detects 16GB.
What should I do next?
I'm considering replacing the RAM modules.
Edit: I just noticed a new BIOS was released about a month ago—I missed it. I flashed it, waited a week, and then powered down and turned it back on. After the update, 32GB were recognized for the first time. This hasn't happened before; it would have needed a reseat.

So I removed another 16GB of RAM, and it seems none of the solutions I've attempted have helped. I'm willing to consider other approaches.
