I recently assembled my first gaming computer and decided to attempt overclocking. However, after doing so, the machine frequently crashed and restarted. Even after resetting all the overclocks, the issue persisted, leaving me quite concerned.

Is your motherboard running the most recent BIOS version? You may have attempted to push the system's performance beyond its limits...?

That's what occurs with an unstable OC. Also, why bother optimizing your system when you already have one of the fastest gaming CPUs available? And a high-end GPU is sufficient. An OC might only bring a 5-10% boost, but you're already equipped with serious gaming hardware. You don't need to modify that setup.

I accessed the BIOS and chose the standard setting, then applied the CMOS jumper since the BIOS reset failed.

The issue with CPUs is that no two are exactly alike. Each one reacts uniquely, has distinct requirements, preferences, and limits. Therefore, no two CPUs will perform the same under OC settings.

OC revolves around understanding the principles—determining what to enhance, what to reduce, what adjustments to make, which components to keep active or disable, and when.

The video is helpful, but your CPU will behave differently compared to the one in the video. Sticking strictly to it might not be effective.

Search for instructions on accessing advanced boot settings on your computer. There’s a toggle for the 'last stable' boot mode.

It’s highly recommended to keep your PC running as-is after getting it working, until you’ve explored OC theory in depth, practiced it, and understood its implications for your specific motherboard and CPU.

OC is a passion project, not a must-have (unless you still have an FX), just like any hobby that succeeds only with proper knowledge of who, what, when, where, and how—and avoiding the wrong things. Since you lack that expertise, it’s no surprise your attempts keep failing.

I checked the information, but it says you need to power on your PC, which it does, but then crashes right away. Here’s the video I recorded: https://youtu.be/wZC72VL3LtU

Reset the CMOS (RTC) to return your BIOS to its standard configuration. Check your manual for the correct steps to clear the CMOS on your motherboard.

I've already tried that but it keeps crashing unexpectedly.

Disconnect the pc. Remove the CMOS battery from the GPU, keep the power button pressed for 10-15 seconds, then wait 10 minutes before replacing it.
