DDU stops working when you try to run it. You tried DDU to fix your GTX 1060 3GB driver, but it got frozen right away, so I can't move my mouse cursor anymore. I ran the program in Safe Mode too (I followed Jayztwocents' tutorial), but now it is taking about two hours instead of finishing fast. Is it safe to shut down the computer and turn it back on?

Doesn't DDU freeze your PC? That's a new issue. I think restarting it might help. Did you try cleaning your drivers through GeForce Experience instead? When you run the app, download a driver, pick "Custom install," and then on that next screen, look for an option at the bottom to clean them all. This will wipe out the old ones and put the right card drivers back in place.

DDU shouldn't stop working right? Maybe restarting your computer will help. Did you try running a clean install of drivers through GeForce Experience? When you open the app, download a driver, then choose "Custom Install" at the bottom and hit OK. On the next screen, look for an option to "Clean Install" or "Uninstall". Clicking that will take out all your old drivers and put them right back on the card as if it's new.
