The 3600xt is shown for $1100 on pcpartpicker—it looks like it might be uncommon, probably.
I understand, but the explanation comes from the fact that I eliminated thermal concerns since the SSD reached around 60°C during the test.
During the test, I paused to do another task for some time. For reference, my CPU performance is around 21000 in Cinebench R23.
It wasn't highly sought after when it first launched, and I doubt they produced that many units. The price seems unreasonable. No one deserves to pay such a high amount. The CPU was only around 300 new.
That was me too at the time. We were discussing a 7800xt. I'm not sure why they ended up using XT for anything other than their GPU. I hope it doesn't happen again.
The next development will likely involve a 7900xt CPU. Should the 7800xt CPU gain popularity, it's possible someone might create a system using a 7800xt CPU paired with a 7800xt GPU.
Some laptop manufacturers assign identical model numbers to various models. It becomes confusing when you're unsure and search blindly, expecting to find the correct one... instead, there are 7 or more different laptops sharing the same codes. GL needs to identify the right one...
