Why does Instagram not allow downloading images?
What is their motivation and have they been pushed to allow it? I understand browser extensions exist, but I recently had to share a photo of myself with my face to confirm authenticity, likely due to the image downloader I was using. They warned me they would permanently ban my account, which makes me anxious about trying a different downloader if I’m caught again.
For a precise image copy, using Print Screen is an option.
