Hello everyone. I've been through Detroid Become Human, but I didn't meet the minimum requirements, causing the game to crash several times. Fixing the shader cache resolved the issue. Now I'm close to the final phase, "freedom March," and I'm puzzled as the game frequently crashes right after triggering the second animation, which is essential to keep the story going. I've already updated my drivers and completed all Windows updates, but I checked it in Epic too.

Did you check your FPS during the crashing scene? It might be that the shader cache isn't sufficient for that section, or perhaps the cache has grown again after deletion and needs to be cleared once more.

Hi Frag, I always check the shader cache before starting. I’m not sure what the issue was, but it looks like I’m not the only one having trouble with this game. Nvidia released a driver fix that seems to help with some of these problems, including this one. I installed it yesterday and managed to keep playing, but the game eventually crashed. This time it might be because my card wasn’t enough for long play sessions. I’m planning to try again until the end, but I’m disappointed since it seems like a general issue and the game doesn’t work properly for anyone on PC. Taking a ps game and launching it on PC isn’t easy, but being Quantic Dream is a big company, which is embarrassing.
