I was working on a video today and then I started noticing something strange. My CPU was right up against its limit at 100%, but I didn't see my GPU being used for the task. Usually, my laptop can use both CPUs and GPUs together when needed, so I don't know why it stopped helping here. YouTube is also acting slow sometimes because it's forcing me to run things like 2K videos at 60fps using just my CPU instead of the graphics card. It makes sense that games could be tough if they rely too much on the CPU. The system is running Windows 7, which might make it harder to solve this problem properly.

It used to work automatically because of driver updates. But those old drivers weren't built right for this specific setup anymore. You need a new app or tool now so you can pick which graphics card to use instead of just letting it guess.

What about an app where you pick your own graphics card?
