Hello, your experience with 60 fps on your PC seems to be related to the monitor you're using. After playing competitive games at 120Hz for some time, you noticed performance issues when trying to run newer AAA titles at higher frame rates. The problem appeared to be that your PC wasn't powerful enough to maintain smooth playback at those speeds. Once you reduced the frame rate back to 60fps, the gameplay improved significantly, though not all games ran smoothly. In certain situations, like playing in closed areas of games such as AC Unity, it felt acceptable but still somewhat choppy. However, when exploring larger environments with many people or cityscapes, the lag became noticeable even at 60fps. Using a controller made things feel smoother compared to using the mouse. At your friend's place with a 60Hz monitor, everything ran well. It’s unclear whether this is due to your eyes or your hardware/monitor. If someone could explain this, it would be appreciated, and I’d also like to know if there’s a solution.

Would likely require understanding your PC specifications, the games you're using, the configurations you're applying, the resolution, and details such as V sync usage.
Low FPS performance often points to overly high settings or a poorly optimized game port. Otherwise, it may indicate a hardware issue.
For instance, I play Assassin's Creed Origins or Odyssey with full graphics at 1080p, achieving around 45-50 FPS on a 1060 6GB, 4790K, 16GB RAM system. I usually disable features like clouds, chromatic aberration, depth of field, and set shadows to medium.

Sorry, I missed the specifications.
I used a GTX 1650 with 4GB of extra RAM.
Playing AC Unity at 1080p on medium-high settings gave me around 60fps, though it feels less smooth. I lowered graphics settings and changed resolution, but results stayed similar.
Sometimes without using vsync, I experience screen tearing, so I stick to it in every game.
