Why do you keep getting weird Bluetooth messages?
Ive been using a dongle to connect my dual sense controller to my old pc. Got a new pc and didnt realise it had bluetooth onboard so was using dongle as normal- needlessly, but then i ran into some serious issues….. I took the dongle out to plug in something else and when i plugged it back in to fire up my controller it simply wouldnt work. Went on/off, connected but then wouldnt have an input on anything and would simply say connected and work for a split second- then not- then the game i was playing would register like 100 button clicks of the controller on the menu screen then nothing. It was like lag but weird. Long story short- i ended up removing my pc bluetooth device by disabling it as you can see the 2 greyed out and just plugging in the dongle. Now works perfectly. I tried factory resetting my controller and even tried a different one. I have 2 with my ps5. The dongle is the only answer. Its the "realtek" adapter thats solid blue. The rz608 is my actual pc. Anyone else experienced anything like this? As it stands, i now cant use bluetooth on my pc without a dongle for the specific peripheral, which isnt great! I cant renable any of the greyed out ones. I'm a bit a concious that I've now scuppered my own lovely new mainboard's bluetooth. I could probably reinstall the drivers but I need to know why this happened first! I'll also add that no matter what I tried to by removing the Dual Sense Controller, as soon as I restarted, it would come back up. It's as if it was installed somewhere else but I looked through hidden devices and couldn't find it anywhere else. i've seen it happen many times over the years where Windows will just lose touch with it's onboard Bluetooth options and/or won't properly detect or connect to devices anymore even though the options to try remain. each time i've had to totally remove all Bluetooth drivers and disable Bluetooth for that system. after a reboot, or two, re-enabling and then reinstalling motherboard drivers would solve the issue. Windows Update will try to install separate drivers from what the motherboard manufacturer offers and those have sometimes lead to the issue(s).
