It offers solid protection, though I’m unsure why others think so. The latest Norton 360 version uses minimal resources, and my system works just fine. I own a laptop with a Celeron and it doesn’t appear to be impacted by constant Norton 360 activity. Norton is definitely a strong tool.

Have you explored alternative software besides Norton, and because it functions well, do you consider it the top choice?

Offers solid defense, yet demands a significant investment in terms of system impact and size. Consumes considerable processing power, causing performance issues and slowing operations. Often leaves persistent tracking software after cancellation or removal. In short, it doesn't justify the value.

I've tested multiple tools: Windows Defender, McAfee, AVG, Malwarebytes, and Avast. Norton seems to offer the strongest defense, with ongoing scans on your device.

You need to install a different tool to remove it!

It consumes significant CPU resources and performs well in protection, though I’d recommend choosing Kaspersky if you’re considering a purchase.

it offers strong protection that works from both sides—very difficult to remove without leaving traces. (i’ve uninstalled Norton several times without any problems, though opinions vary). it slows down your system significantly while keeping you safe (around 30% performance drop doesn’t mean full resource drain; it just makes programs run slower with the same available capacity). it also generates many false alarms.

I rely on 360 internal security... my antivirus can be turned off with just two clicks... Norton and McAfee perform exceptionally well... suitable for organizational use... the end-user should have a straightforward AV experience.
