there are some people who mention oc and windforce speedster, but it's kind of unclear what they mean.

It is a strategy by AIB to differentiate themselves from rivals, such as using an alternative cooling method or opting for a more powerful processor or compact design card.

there are specific models to steer clear of, and it's not a major concern which one you choose since both options appear similar except for color.

Not a specialist but probably not worth the extra 200 dollars. You only pay for appearances at this stage. The cooling works a bit differently, but the windforce is sufficient for 4060. The OC version isn’t too important—it just means the card is pre-overclocked a bit. If you’re experienced, you can push it much further without buying the OC version.

Asus consistently sets a higher price point compared to its rivals. I’d choose any card that fits your budget. Regarding the RTX4060... what budget have you allocated for this purchase?

around 500 but i'm starting to think about going up a bit and getting the RX 7800 XT. I can get it for 700, and from what i see and read, it supports 1440p on that model—not the 4060. It looks really good for Starfield.

In general, the most straightforward and budget-friendly choice usually works well and meets the GPU maker's requirements. Certain businesses might provide simpler return processes and better customer service, though they could only supply pricier models.
