Why do I keep hitting that annoying blue screen?
I own an MSI Raider laptop that keeps crashing with BSOD errors. I gathered some crash dump files and would love any help deciphering them if you can share what they mean to me right now. I have no idea how to read those logs at all. Thanks a lot for listening! Minidump Files If this helps, here is more info: SysnativeFileCollection Speccy System Snapshot
Sorry, I just check Windows 10 or 11 forums most of the time. I already tried this on another forum and they didn't reply yet. Let me tell you exactly what happened there... All the error logs are exactly the same: a 0x139 bugcheck saying that a LIST entry is broken. The logs don't show which driver caused it, so it's probably a third-party driver we can't see that messed things up before. There are several drivers on your PC you have installed that could be responsible, but the best way to find out is to turn on Driver Verifier. Driver Verifier runs extra tests and checks whenever any of those third-party drivers load up. If a driver breaks one of these checks, the system will crash (BSOD). The resulting logs should tell us which driver failed so we can guess it's the one that corrupted the LIST entry. Remember, because this tool adds more testing to every third-party driver each time it starts running, your PC will run slower and feel sluggish at first. That is a cost you pay just to find any shaky drivers. Normal performance comes back when you turn off Driver Verifier. Here are the full steps on how to enable it and what tests to use: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/threads...-and-8.29/. Please read those links carefully before taking action. Just keep in mind that Driver Verifier might make your computer crash, so we want it to crash to catch the bad driver. That's why you should save all mini-dumps while it is running and send them online with a link once you've turned everything off.
