I purchased a new game yesterday and noticed my storage was running low, so I thought about removing some files to make space. In Windows 10 settings, I saw that DOOM Eternal is installed. When I tried to uninstall it, Steam asked if I wanted changes to my computer (likely uninstall), which I accepted. However, nothing changed. I attempted to stop Steam using Task Manager and restart, but it kept launching. I understand why DOOM is still there—I received the game from a friend, who probably had it on his Steam account but never removed it after giving it to me. After logging out of his account, deleting it became difficult. Are there any ways I could try to remove it? Thanks in advance!

For any used system, you must perform a complete reset and reinstall. This stops problems similar to this one, along with many others. Act immediately.
