Why are my downloads so slow even though my internet is really fast?
Hey So today a prebuild pc arrived one of those where you pick the parts and they put it together for you and while i'm sure any experienced pc expert here would feel despair looking at the parts list i have it and i'm trying to work with it. I have a few issues i need to figure out that are giving me an actual headache atm. The first being the internet speed. Despite the download speed being show below being really fast it seems to take forever to actually download even relatively small files. Here is an example of me trying to download a mod manager for rimworld. How does this make sense with my download speeds? I am someone who is horrible with anything pc related and my head hurts trying to figure out the worst of the issues i have been having so i hope to be able to fix some starting with this one. If anyone has suggestions on how to figure out what's making my downloads so slow despite the fast connection please let me know. Edit: But despite the slow browser downloads steam seems very fast? I am super confused Edit2: What does it mean by resuming? I have not downloaded that on this pc before yet.
Looks okay for now, but if you know what it could be, I'm still curious.
