Why am I getting insane lag when my mouse works well? The task manager says everything looks fine on the screen though.
After I turned my computer on for about 10 hours, it starts getting really slow sometimes. The mouse still moves normally, but clicking things takes a long time. It takes 20 seconds to react to one click, so opening windows and using options is very slow. Even starting the task manager took forever. Everything works, just every action feels delayed by 20 seconds. The mouse itself isn't lagging at all though.
I was playing Minecraft for some reason (Toms says this is spam). I set Java to use 5GB of memory, but I thought maybe it was a memory leak. So when the lag starts, I wait about 10 minutes to check the task manager and close everything that's running. That doesn't stop the lag. The performance tab shows things as working fine too. Even though the ethernet chart looks like it's being used pretty much all the time, something else might be wrong.
My specs are: 32GB of RAM, a 3600MHz processor, an Intel Core i7-11700K CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, and Windows 11 Home in 64-bit mode. I did a Samsung Magician scan on my M.2 NVMe drive and the software said everything looks good there. If more info is needed, I'd be happy to share it. The Event Viewer doesn't show many errors except for some restart warnings.
Do you want me to check a User Benchmark test and give you the link? It's likely that your CPU is getting too hot.
Your RAM is probably acting up. Please take a look at the Memory part of the page in CPU-Z and tell us what you see there. Also check the SPD section if you can, then send me some pictures or upload them to imgur.com so I can read them.

I thought I bought two sticks of RAM at the same time, but they came from different companies and have different timings. I'm not sure what's going on with my system though. I put both in 2 to 1 slot form. Here are the specs for each stick. It's been about half a year since I added this extra ram. My games aren't working anymore, specifically with Minecraft now.
Set the command rate to 2T if you want to change from 1T. Four modules need 2T of power. Also, make sure DDR voltage stays at 1.35 volts.
I'm currently using an Asrock computer and looking at the UEFI Bios settings for my RAM. It already says 1.35V, but the command rate is set to 1N with "Auto" on the right side. If I try writing in 2N, 2, or 2T, it goes back to Auto just like that. To be clear: what number do I actually need to put into this box? (There isn't a drop-down list or help text on the screen). Or am I doing something completely wrong here?
Got it, I typed in 2 and clicked save then exit. Now it seems to keep showing that setting. Not sure why it keeps switching back to auto every time. The display shows as 2N.
