The computer performed flawlessly immediately after purchase, but recently it has become noticeably slow.

My hardware specifications are:
Intel Core i7 (8750H) at 2.20 GHz
Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6 GB of VRAM
24 GB of RAM

Furthermore, all of my device drivers are up to date.

I concur with SkyNetRising’s assessment; the issue likely involves temperature regulation. Inspect the laptop's ventilation openings and ensure they are free from debris. Examine the fans to verify that all of them rotate efficiently, expelling heat. If necessary, consider removing the bottom panel to investigate any internal dust accumulation. Additionally, a cooling pad designed for laptops can be beneficial when performing demanding tasks like gaming, as it aids in maintaining cooler temperatures.

Could you please specify the laptop's manufacturer and model? What is the resolution of its screen? Is performance lagging specifically during gaming, or does it also experience slowdowns when using a desktop application, browsing the web, or watching videos?

These are simply simulations. There is an ASUS computer, and its display resolution is 1920 by 1080.

I concur with SkyNetRising’s assessment; it appears to be related to temperature regulation. Inspect the laptop's ventilation openings for any obstructions caused by dust. Examine the fans to confirm they are operating and effectively dissipating heat. If necessary, consider removing the bottom panel to investigate internal dust accumulation. Additionally, exploring a cooling pad designed for laptops can significantly improve temperature management during demanding activities like gaming.

Utilize your dedicated graphics card for optimal performance, verifying in your Nvidia settings that it’s not utilizing your integrated GPU.

Apologies for the delay, I was occupied with my studies. I possess a laptop cooling device—I haven’t used it yet—and I am attempting to activate it presently. Thank you!
