It's often told to take out your old Arc drivers using a tool called "ddu" before putting in brand new ones. This helps keep things running smoothly and avoid problems later on. Why should you do that? Because it makes sure everything works better with the fresh drivers installed.
You do not need to use DDU if all you're doing is updating drivers. People who suggest such are blind followers of what someone said on Reddit (I dunno, I just like picking on them). I'd also argue that a lot of scenarios where people say you must use DDU actually don't require it. And then they throw in the excuse that you might as well anyway to avoid potential problems.
No need to worry about that at all. Just download and run the latest driver for the game.
