I just hope retail versions of GTA are enabled through Steam, probably because of the RSC process. It seems different platforms like GMG or other CD key sites use alternative DRM methods instead. I’m also hoping for surround sound support when it launches—it would be great!
I'm really pumped up, my Steam account is all set and I can’t wait to spend it! While I wait, I’ve been improving my online character on PS4 since we can transfer them to PC later. I played through the game on consoles but skipped side missions and achievements, so I’m eager for a full completion and to enjoy GTAO with friends. A few of my WoW pals are joining too, which is great—just hoping heists don’t launch yet so they can get used to things before we dive in. Since I’ll be the one funding the jobs, I’m excited to see them start up!
You're not seeing the frame rate? I'm playing it poorly but can't run it on my system right now. I'm waiting to settle my bills and upgrade my PC.
I was really excited when the game launched and again when they began sharing PS4/XBOne clips. I waited for the PC release but kept putting it off. Now it's been a while, and during Steam's holiday sales I decided to try Vice City just for the nostalgia. It feels like I've finally reached GTA territory. To make matters worse, I already have a long list of games I'd love to play—Bayonetta 2 on Wii U is almost done, and Darksiders 2 on PC is next. There are probably three or four more titles I want to finish. Right now, I'm not even thinking about new games, and even if GTA comes back, it's probably not my priority anymore. What a change!
I'm not very confident about the cost, maybe I'm overpaying?
It's really honest how little I've played on the console version after purchasing it. When I rented it, I enjoyed it and thought about using my SDM points to buy it, but I haven't had the chance to play it again. It's been a long time since then.
