Hi. I’d like to hear perspectives on the Epic and Apple situation regarding Fortnite’s removal from the app store and the lawsuit. What do you think will happen next? Personally, I believe Epic should come out on top since it’s a bigger challenge for Apple and Google than the usual 30% cuts that impact many companies. Also, during the last interview, they mentioned Apple’s influence extends beyond just the price reduction.

That's correct, the question lacks context and doesn't make sense.

I’m hoping Apple and Google come out on top, though the outcome might be uncertain

He might have missed including the fact Fortnite was taken down and everything else.

I believe Epic should take the win, though not everyone enjoys Fortnite. Most people just use their phones now, which could make the game less popular on traditional platforms like PC and consoles. I think Minecraft is the only one with such widespread cross-platform support besides Fortnite.

I don't follow Fortnite, but I understand why people might support a team's chances of winning.

Antitrust cases are tricky and hard to foresee. It would be beneficial for developers if Epic prevails, though their behavior has typically been questionable.

The video really made me question the legitimacy of this case. It feels like a manufactured story, almost like something Epic would do to boost Fortnite. The idea that they broke the terms of service and should be removed seems questionable to me.

I understand your perspective. What bothers me most isn't the idea that Epic wants to bring Fortnite back into focus. It's typical to boost marketing efforts when things decline. However, their portrayal of being victimized—claiming they only care about users while chasing profits from kids—is questionable. It seems they prioritize financial gains over genuine user experience.

Additionally, the frustration over iPhone users being limited to the Play Store feels restrictive. Why should I have to choose Epic exclusively, rather than having Fortnote available on Steam? It seems unfair that Epic charges extra for certain titles.

The situation with Apple storing data on MacBooks and the T2 chip complicates things further. It appears more secure and privacy-focused solutions exist, even if they’re less convenient.

I suppose it’s hard to say for sure whether I’d prefer Apple or Epic, but I’m curious—would I rather see Epic lose or just see their Fortnite profits shrink?
