Depends on how well it gets reviewed. Chances are good that I'm going to be giving it a try, though.

I'm considering adding a joystick and throttle setup, even though the game runs great with any peripheral. The beta has received lots of positive feedback and is often compared to Star Citizen. Besides the good reviews, I believe the developers are doing well. It shouldn't be a letdown like X-Rebirth 2.0, and among all the crowd-funded space sims out there, Elite Dangerous stands out for its effort with limited funding. Three titles stand out as essential purchases: No Man's Sky, Eve: Valkyrie, and Elite Dangerous.

I'll try it once I have my CH stuff. Likely before Christmas, though possibly later. It depends on whether I'm ready to invest all my money in accessories.

It seems to be progressing well over time, which gives me confidence. I won’t commit $50 just yet because it’s based on an early build rather than the final release. I’d like to experience the product once it’s out in the market.

I'm holding my breath, yet I'm drawn to pre-ordering for an Eagle once it's released. Even at premium pre-order pricing, the game remains more affordable than Unity and FC4 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
