Who will be the players in Elite: Dangerous?
Star Citizen and EVE: Valkyrie might not arrive until late 2015 or mid-year, but Elite Dangerous has a confirmed launch on December 16th. I’m excited to give it a thorough test. Who else will be eager to play? The combat mechanics look exceptional! For more details, check the links provided.
It seems you're not into many game types. I already have the game/beta tester and will play it whenever I want. It doesn't have much ambition or a strong endgame right now. At least for now, it feels like just a waste of time. The combat is decent but a bit slow, though it's more fun than what I've seen in EVE.
You should check out the EVE: V version. It seems the battles there feel more rewarding because they're quicker.
It seems like you're finding the scene uninteresting. The character keeps firing at a red dot on the screen. Maybe you'd prefer something more engaging?
I'm sure I'll manage to get this eventually, possibly even when it launches. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a solid space simulation. Plus, I should replace my old joystick—I have no clue where the original is.
