Alrighty. Yesterday I had a small win. Probably the 2.5" hdd was the issue—it was next to the GPU and noise from activity seemed linked. Fun that it kept running. I moved the key parts to our NAS and removed the problem. Great relief. ... while fixing it, I spotted something about her secondary SSD, but that’s for another thread if I can’t sort it out. Spanks folks!
