The Aorus X570 Ultra paired with a Ryzen 7 2700X is more suitable, while the ASRock X399 Taichi with a Ryzen Threadripper 1920X offers better performance for heavy workloads. Both choices have their strengths depending on your needs!

I choose Threadripper because it's a high-performance workstation CPU with higher power efficiency.

It varies based on your needs. Threadripper isn't ideal for gaming because it lacks the per-core speed of typical Ryzen processors. However, it performs better on workstations.

Threadripper 1920X drops from $800 to $200, 7 2700X falls from $380 to $160. Both the CPU and motherboard combo are near $500.
